The scene was a Chicago speakeasy, even though one employee seemed to think she worked in an ice cream parlor.  Health wise the mob boss didn’t have such a good evening but the chorus girls were distracted so they weren’t much comfort to him.  Everyone found it difficult to “say nothing” when the inspector came to investigate.  The audience spent the entire evening in laughter while trying to figure out “who done it”.   Seems safe to say “Killed by the Mob”, the Chamber’s dinner/play fundraiser held Oct. 20 at the Highlander’s Lodge was a huge success.

Over the last 3 weeks, the eight member cast spent many hours in preparation and volunteered their time and skills to help the Chamber raise funds by “making an offer you couldn’t refuse”. It must have worked since every seat was filled.  Wonderful music by Harry and Connie added a nice touch to the atmosphere.  For that special someone long stem roses were available. Several people were correct in their answer for figuring out who the murderer was; they went home with a prize.

Cast Members:  Gwen Hodges as Lydia, Joanna Kitchen as Betty, Lisa Straub as Sally, Jessica Reaves working sound and lights, Donald Mature as Butch, Mitch Smith as Johnny, Eze Enriquez as Pretty Boy and Eduardo Enriquez as Danny, Officer Mas… and Director.   Rotarians make up half of the cast and all cast members either live or work in Milan.
