“Little-known Public Lands Near Milan.” Talk by John Farmer – Wednesday, February 6th

Milan Garden Club will host John Farmer as the guest speaker at their meeting on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at 6:45 PM at the Marble Memorial United Methodist Church, 8 Park Street, Milan.  His Topic is “Little-known Public Lands Near Milan.”  More specifically, his talk will cover the Draper-Houston Meadows/Schrock Family Preserve (Washtenaw County holding) just west of Milan’s Kroger Shopping Center and two York Township Parks: Sandra Richardson Park at Platt and Willis Roads, and Mary McCann Park on Warner Road between Willis and Bemis.  John Farmer is a retired biology teacher from Milan who spends his retirement time in a variety of Nature-related pursuits.
