A Word of Gratitude

The Lincoln Senior Citizen program was established in 1985 and has been actively servicing Seniors for 28 years. Due to the recent government crisis, our nutrition program was shut down. The nutrition program is a very important part of our Senior Center. Many Seniors would not have a hot meal if it were not for the lunch program.

The Lincoln Golden Ages Seniors would like to extend our gratitude to all who supported us during the time of the Government shutdown. The support we received from so many sources was extremely appreciated.

The outpouring of kindness means a lot to us. Thank you one and all.

Lincoln Golden Ages Open House

The Lincoln Golden Ages Senior Citizens recently hosted an open house. We welcomed a new coordinator and greeted new and sustaining members. People socialized and enjoyed conversing with friends they had not seen for a while. The best part of the event was making use of all of our senses – smelling and tasting delicious food, hearing laughter, seeing smiling faces and experiencing warm embraces.

If you’re 55 year or older come out and see what our program is all about. Located at 8970 Whittaker Rd. Parking and entrance are on the west side of Brick Elementary.
