Congratulations MHS Class of 2015!

• The Milan High School class of 2015 held commencement exercises on Sunday, June 7 at the high school. Prinicpal Ryan McMahon welcomed the guests. The commencement address was delivered by teacher Herb Morelock.
• McMahon and vice principal, Christopher Gill presented the class. Awarding the diplomas were board of education members, Eric Peacock, Janice Kiger, Rita Vershum, John Leacher, Kerri Moccio, Andrew Cislo, Michelle Heikka and student representative, Abbie Moccio. Also, school Supt. Bryan Girbach and assistant superintendent, Peter Kudlak.
• Christian Miller, Summa Cum Laude graduate and valedictorian addressed the class. Fawnnie Pameman was salutatorian, with the second highest grades. Ashley Roark, class president and Abbie Moccio, school board student representative.
• Class colors were red, grey and black, class flower chosen was a carnation and class quote, “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined,”…Henry David Thoreau.
n Music was directed by district instrumental teacher, Alicia Upton. The Concert and Chamber Choirs were directed by choral teacher, Shayla Powell.
