Middle school bowler, Rachel Peladeau, continued her winning streak with another First Place trophy recently given at Skores Lanes in Taylor in a 10U Tournament.   She won the Jackie Robinson Scholarship Tournament by 65 pins with a score of 132.
Peladeau throws a 10-pound ball down the alley.  Her bowling average is 108 with a high game score of 202 for bragging rights.  Next on tap for the little champion is a city tournament at Bel-Mark Lanes in Ann Arbor.
Besides enjoying the competition and the game, Rachel has chalked up dollars as well as points.  Youth can earn points for each tournament in which they place.  The points are rewarded by the United States Bowling Association and turned into scholarship money for college.  The alleys designate the point values. To date, Peladeau has earned more than $1,000.
Three other school pals in the area, Samantha Ruff of Milan, Heather Hansen from Ann Arbor and Dana Philburn, are regulars on the circuit.
