Milan Seniors for Healthy Living is a non-profit organization that provides services, activities, and programs for the mature residents in and around Milan. Your Spot Youth Program MILAN BAPTIST CHURCH 36 Tolan St. meets every Thursday evening, there are all kinds of fun activities available for Grades 6 through 12.

Caregivers Support Group At Senior Center (MSHL) – 3rd Mondays monthly from 6pm FACILITATED BY LANCE SLATTON CSCM from Enriched Life Home Care Services In the midst of caring for a loved one, it is easy to wrestle with the weight of that role. While often rewarding, caregiving requires a tremendous amount of energy and strength. It is important to take some time for yourself to recharge. Join us as we share the challenges and the rewards of caregiving. The purpose of this group is to create a community of support for caregivers and their families in an open forum to share experiences and resources. FREE

Bowling for Bones at Monroe Sport Center
Grab your valentine, your friends, and family and come out for a fun night of bowling and pizza to benefit the homeless animals at our shelter. Tickets are available at our Thrift Store and at our shelter. Tickets cost $15 per person and include: 3 games of bowling, shoe rental, pizza and pop. Monroe Sport Center is located at 15425 S. Come dance the night away with your Milan Area Firefighters on Saturday February 11th at the Milan American Legion. Tickets are $20 per person and that includes Beer. Wine, Soft Drinks and various munchies and all the dance moves you can handle!!!! Doors open at 7pm and the band Eclipse starts playing at 8. Monies raised will benefit the Milan Area Firefighters Assn. You can purchase tickets from any firefighter.

Knights of Columbus Chicken – Steak Dinner 
Servings begins at 4:30 and continues to 7:00 p.m. Open to the public. Cost for adults is $12.00 and $5.00 for children age 5-12 and, four and under are free. Carry outs are available on site. The dinner is held in the Father Joe Family Center at Immaculate Conception Church, 420 North St. in Milan. Proceeds from these dinners support our charitable activities. The dinners include Baked Chicken, Baked Swiss Steak, Gravy, Mashed Potatoes, Corn & Green Beans choice, Applesauce, Dinner Roll and Homemade Pies. Coffee, Milk and Water are included in the cost. Washtenaw Community Concert Band Concert Journey to Ireland 7:30 p.m. at Washtenaw Community College Towsley Auditorium 4800 E. Huron River Ann Arbor. Composer James Curnow will be guest conductor for highlights in this program of music from the land of Ireland. The band will get you sham-rocking on the night before St. Patrick’s Day—a must-see/must-hear concert for anyone claiming to be Irish for this holiday! We’ve even found an Irish uilleann (bagpipe) performer, Nicolas Brown, to complete our Irish flavor! This unique event is supported by a grant from the Frederick S. Upton Foundation.
