A new Little Free Library has been installed in Wilson Park and stocked with books thanks to the Friends of the Milan Public Library. Modeled on a little red schoolhouse, the Little Free Library has 3 shelves for books for both kids and adults. Take a book, leave a book. Huge thanks to due to Joan Cullip, who took the lead in getting the Little Free Library created and to Jack Gregory who created this wonderful and durable structure that will bring books to the many individual and families who enjoy Wilson Park.
As part of the Adult Summer Reading Program, the Milan Public Library is holding a design contest for an additional Little Free Library. Submit your design by July 28. The winning design will be announced on Saturday, September 2.
