The opening of Northern Chicks, 32 E. Main St., a home décor and artesian marketplace, will open on November 11 in time for holiday shopping.
Owner and operator, Rachelle McDaniel, has held several pop-up showings but looks forward to her official opening and, as a new member of the Milan Area Chamber of Commerce, a Red Ribbon Ceremony that will be held on November 18.
The shop is full of vintage pieces that McDaniel has repurposed, but there is more to see.  Handmade Michigan products, decorative pillows, wooden art pieces, coat rack hangers, jewelry, mirrors, old window reproductions and a myriad of other fun things for your home is on hand.
The shop’s ambiance is inviting and McDaniel is knowledgeable about the products sold and delivers the information is a warm and welcoming way.
The hours of operation will be Tues. and Wed. from 12 to 6 p.m., Thurs. 12 to 8 p.m., Sat. 12- 6 p.m. and closed Sun. and Mon.
