Austin Schultz

Austin Schultz plays basketball for the Dundee High School Vikings. Sixteen year old Austin, whose friends call him Schultzeeeee, started playing basketball with family and friends when he was young and has always loved the sport. He has been playing on the school team for four years. The Cleveland Cavaliers are his favorite team and, although basketball is his favorite sport, Austin also enjoys playing football.
Austin’s favorite subject in school is Science. He finds it to be a very interesting subject with many different avenues to explore and is especially interested in the electrical side of it.
Austin lives in Petersburg with his parents, Heather and Jason Fulfer, and his four siblings; one sister that attends Dundee Middle School and two sisters and one brother that attend Dundee Elementary School. They also have one dog, a Boxer named Shiloh.
Although he has not yet decided on a specific university, once he finishes high school Austin plans to attend college and focus on engineering and pursue an electrical apprenticeship.
When asked for his advice to other students that might be contemplating joining a sport at school, Austin said that you should try a variety of sports because you never know which sport you are good at and which sport you will love until you try.
Jordan Bollin, Dundee Schools Boys’ Head Basketball Coach, states, “The sky is the limit for Austin. He has really come a long way from the student athlete he was a year ago. We are proud of him and expect him to keep up the hard work.”
