Catherine Imo is in the tenth grade at Dundee High School, where her friends call her Cat.  She participates on the Dundee Vikings swim team.  Having started her love for swimming with swimming lessons during first grade, Cat has been participating in the sport for eight years.  Her favorite sports team is the Michigan State University football team.

Catherine states that her favorite subject in school is history because, “I love history and learning about what happened in the past”.  While carrying a 3.6 GPA in her studies and participating in sports Cat is also a member of 4H, Interact Club, Relay for Life, and a member of the Divine Grace Parish.

Cat lives in Monroe with her parents, Jane and John Imo and her siblings.  She has a younger brother, 12 year old Evan who attends Dundee Middle School and a 10 year old sister, Kaylee, who attends Dundee Elementary School.  They also have a Chocolate Lab named Sandy that is part of the family.

Cat plans to attend college in the future where she intends to continue participating in her favorite passion of swimming.  Coach Eubanks stated, “Catherine was an all-state swimmer this year and it all stemmed from her hard work.  As a Sophomore She is a great leader for our team. We look forward to watching her develop even more.”
