Colin Kane

By Janet Buccirosso

Sixteen year old Colin Kane runs track for the Dundee High School Vikings. His love of track stems from his love of competition.
Colin states that he loves competing and he does that best when he is running. He has been participating in track for three years and also competes in cross country. He follows his favorite team, the University of Michigan Wolverines.
Colin’s favorite subject in school is Advanced Chemistry, “because Mrs. Richards is a phenomenal teacher and the class will help me with my future endeavors”. He carries a 3.9 GPA and belongs to the National Honor Society and Club Interact. Colin lives in Dundee with his parents, Pete and Patricia. He has an older brother, Justin Kane, who coaches golf at Dundee High School. He and his parents share their space with two cats, which he says are “very large”.
Upon graduation, Colin plans to pursue his dreams of a career in exercise science and would also like to continue with his running.
