Dundee Male Athlete of the Month: Justin Nieman

The Dundee Schools Male Athlete of the Month, Justin Nieman, knows what his favorite team is. He proudly claims the Dundee Vikings at the top of the list. The eighteen year old attends eleventh grade at Dundee High School. His participation in Cross Country and Indoor Track began during his freshman year. At that time, after being cut from the baseball team he turned to track and field, and he has not looked back.
Justin states that his favorite school subject is Physics. He says, “Physics applies math to real life and explains how the world works”. He currently maintains a 3.9 GPA.
Justin is on the Quiz Bowl team at school and also helps out other students at the Middle School track meets. He lives in Dundee with his parents, Jeff and Lisa; his sisters, Janie, Betsy and Hannah; and his three brothers, David, Joey and Noah. He also has four additional older sisters that live on their own named Anna, Katherine, Carrie and Mary Rose. The family shares their home with two dogs named Emma and Alice, two cats named Hobbes and Spanky, two rabbits, a quail and a chicken.
Upon graduation from Dundee High School, Justin plans on attending the University of Toledo and majoring in technical, computer or mechanical engineering.
