Milan takes 2nd place

Milan took second place behind Gross Ile’s first place finish in the Huron League Meet of Track and Field. The Milan girls placed as follows:
Ladies: In the 100 Hurdles Kiara Lay took 2nd place after grabbing first in the preliminaries over Flat Rock’s Maya Schroeder. Schroeder stumbled at the finish giving Kiara an addition point ahead going into the finals. Kiara also took 4th place in the 300m Hurdles.
Sienna Schmidt took 3rd in the 1600m and placed 2nd in the 3200 meter. Adrianna Dugas and Emily Monroe took the 2nd and 3rd spots respectively in the 800m and Rebecca Pietryka took 3rdin the 200m prelims as well as the finals.
Relays: In the 4 x 800 Milan placed third earning 6 points for the team.  Runners in the event were 1) Mary Racette, 2) Sophie Moccio, 3) Riley Sielaff, 4)Seanna Schmidt.
Finishing in the 3rd place spot of the 4 x 400 were runners 1) Jayden Hall, 2) Adrianna Dugas,3) Jariana Hamilton, and 4) Emme Burrough
In the 4 x 200 Relay Milan placed 2nd earning 8 points with runners 1) Rebecca Pietryka, 2) Jayden Hall, 3) Jariana Hamilton, 4) Emme Burrough.
In the 4 x 100 Relay Milan grabbed the 1st place spot with runners 1) Rebecca Pietryka, 2) Savana Bonder, 3) Niya Garner, and 4) Dashay Rawls.
The ranking for Huron participants was Gross Ile-First, Milan-Second, Flat Rock-Third, Monroe Jefferson-Fourth, Carleton Airport-Fifth, New Boston Huron-Sixth, Riverview-Seventh and SMCC-Eighth
