Enjoy a Fall Walk
AVA: America’s Walking Club is sponsoring a Free Map-Guided Walk in Dundee, MI on Sunday, Oct 28. Choose a 5K (3 Miles) or 10K (6 miles) route. The walk begins at 9:00 a.m. and participants must finish by 1:00 p.m. Your walk includes the famous Cabela’s store and historic downtown sidewalks. The start point is at the Best Western motel, 100 Whitetail Dr. Registration is required at the start point and children younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Pets are welcome, must remain on a leash, and may not be allowed in buildings.

Meals on Wheels offered
For anyone interested, we offer meals on wheels. You must be 60 years old or older, live in Dundee, Ida, or Petersburg area and be a Monroe Co. resident. We don’t have a waiting list, so you can typically start delivery the next day. We serve one homemade meal a day (which may be hot or cold) Monday through Fridays. You must take meals minimally 3 days a week, and they must be the same 3 each week. $3 suggested donation per meal. We offer weekend meals that are fully cooked, and just need to be heated. We also offer a loaf of white or wheat bread once a week and a half gallon of 2% milk once a week. You need to be home to receive your meal.
