Milan Garden Club Celebrates 20 years.

Milan Garden Club celebrated their 20th anniversary September 12, 2018. Members enjoyed a delicious meal at the Historical Society’s Fire barn at Hack House. Milan Garden Club was founded in November 1998 by Mary Pulick, former District 11A Director of the Federated Garden Clubs of Michigan. Club members meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:45 p.m. at Marble Memorial United Methodist Church, 8 Park St, Milan. During the summer months they meet for tours of other gardens or other outings. The purpose of the club is to promote gardening through knowledge with interesting and informative monthly programs, to promote home and community beautification and to encourage conservation. They maintain the gardens at Hack House, 775 County Street in Milan and the Veteran’s Wall on Wabash Rd in Milan. The club is open to everyone with an interest in gardening and nature. No experience is necessary!! For more information please contact the Membership Chair, Nancy Kuzniar, at 734-439-1719.
