Milan played a strong game from beginning to end when they met Flat Rock on the road and in spite of the strong come back in the fourth quarter by Flat Rock they pulled off the win fairly easily, 45-26.
The game changer was that Milan receiver Tristen Hines, quarterback DJ Jones and running back Hunter Aeschbacker came through with big plays. Jones completed 13-of-17 passes for 303 yards and 4 touchdowns with the help of the receivers and running backs.  Hines had 6 receptions for 63 yards, caught 6 passes for 89 yards and scored a touchdown. The biggest play of the night came when Chris Beck blocked a field goal on the final play of the first half and Hines later returned the ball 80 yards for a touchdown. Duane Bartnicki and Evan Furtney intercepted passes for Milan that were also key plays.
