He has been interested in sports his entire life. Dustin has played baseball since he was 5 years old and he started running in 7th grade. His brother had played baseball before him and he is really the reason Dustin started baseball. Once he started baseball he says he never stopped playing.
Dustin is a pitcher and center fielder in baseball. In track he runs the 3200m relay, 800m run, 1 mile, and the 2 mile.
He has been captain of the cross country team for the past two years at Milan and he made state in cross country his sophomore and junior year. He was also an all league and all region pitcher in baseball last year.
Since his sophomore year Dustin has been in the National Honors Society.
Currently Dustin plans to go to Washtenaw Community College for a year, after graduating from MHS, and then transfer to Eastern Michigan University for mechanical engineering. He would love to play baseball for Eastern as well.
