The Milan High School Bowling team is off to a good start for their 2018-2019 season already proving to be stiff competition.
With their first Holiday Baker Tournament, coach Dawn Divert said, “They rolled 12 games and remained in the Top 4 all day long.”   Team members were, Andy Jarvis, Ariana Cheatham, Dakota DeMond, Solomon Smith, Hunter Divert, Matt Ruff and Sam Ruff.  Their high game was game 4 with a 213.
Going up against a very tough first-string, New Boston Huron Chiefs team, they qualified 4 th but ended losing to them after 2 more Baker games.
A second team representing the Big Reds, with only one returning bowler out of 6, did well.  The newbies were, Alex Bancroft, Mason Somerville, Garrett DeBrock, Tyler Saunders, Blake Skiff and Elijah Smith. Their high game was game 8 with a 202.
