Kendra Pinnow, a senior at Milan High School, was born at St Joes hospital on May 21, 2002. She started attending Milan schools in first grade. Kendra is the daughter of Dave and Christie Pinnow. Her 15 year old brother is Johnathan, her 11 year old sister is Keira and they have a black lab named Brinkley. Kendra got interested in sports in 8th grade.
Her parents have always encouraged her to join sports. A former travel softball teammate wanted her to join the cross-country team with her so she decided to give it a try and she loved it. She runs cross-country and track. She’s run country for 5 years and track for 4 in the spring. She said, “running is relaxing for me and the team is like a family.
The girls cross country team won the Huron League meet and a chance to run at states as a team last season. Coach Porter is an amazing coach. He pushes us to do our best and believes in the team”.
Kendra takes AP classes with Dual Enrollment courses this year. Kendra is a member of the National Honors Society and plays the Baritone Saxophone in band.
She plans to go to college after graduation, however she’s not sure where or for what yet. She says she may run after graduation but she doesn’t plan to run for a
college.
