We at the Milan Eagle hope all in our community are doing well during this crisis. We will all get through this together. In order to keep people safe and distanced we did not produce a Milan Eagle newspaper for April. Further months have not been determined as we want to adhere to state guidelines and protect the community. We appreciate all our advertisers and readers and look forward to serving everyone again.God bless.

Community - ANTIQUE QUILT SHOW COMING TO HACK HOUSE - photoOn Friday, August 16, an antique quilt show will be open to visitors from 11-2 p.m. The quilts go back as far as the 1880s with patterns like “bear paw” and “Dresden Plate.” The event includes a buffet-style salad luncheon and baked deserts, for a $10 donation. Above: Janice Lossee, left; Anne Farmer, center; and Mary Mehringer, all of the Milan Area Historical Society, point to their favorite edgings on a “crazy quilt” created in the 1870s. For additional information call Farmer at (734) 439-1297.
