The City of Milan to Host a Business Forum and Public Town Hall to Get in Touch With the Community

MILAN , MI – Mayor Armitage is  announcing that in an effort to improve communication and spur idea sharing, the City of Milan will be hosting a general town hall meeting on November 5th, starting at 7pm at the Milan Senior and Community Activity Center. There will be a presentation by the Mayor and city staff to give a current overview of city operations and projects, followed by a discussion period where residents can bring forward ideas and concerns about city operations and services. We want to know what is important to you! More details will follow as the event draws closer.                Armitage states, “I believe that communication is vital to success.  This is an opportunity to hear from residents on what the city is doing well and what we can improvement upon.  It’s also a chance to share new ideas.”                   Prior to the general ‘town hall’ meeting, Mayor Armitage and staff will be hosting a forum for business owners, and those interested in opening a business in Milan. This is an opportunity for business owners, and potential investors in Milan, to share ideas, discuss current projects and initiatives, and to discuss any concerns. More information will follow as the event draws near.
