Gamer night reaps rewards

By Milan Eagle Media

The Morning Owl at 9 W. Main St. in Milan was filled with people of all ages on the evening of December 5, 2014 when they gathered for the 2nd Gamer Night.  There were numerous video games and screens of varying sizes all through the building all the way to a eight foot projector screen where racers signed up to play in hopes of winning the Mario Kart tournament.

Pizza and drinks were available for purchase for those watching or working up an appetite.

Ryan Wilman was a great host and with the help of many volunteers, gamers and the community the event was a huge success raising over $900 in donations to go toward the Mason Farmer Playground in Heaven Project.  Mason’s playground equipment will be an Excalator Climber which will be installed at Symons Elementary School.

Next Gamer Night will be January 10, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M.  This “3rd Gamer Night” will feature 2 Mario Kart Tournaments and all donations will go to “Team Cassie” the CF Foundation.

What a fun filled family event to help others. Milan is a town that continues to share resources and show they care.
