Wow! $72,509 raised for Relay for Life

According to Relay Stats provided by Kristen Pilon, Community Manager/American Cancer Society the goal for 2015 was $65,500 and at closing Sunday, August 23 with 285 registered participates and 25 remaining teams onsite it was very clear Relay for Life of Milan meant business helping to find a cure for cancer by raising $72, 509.
The top participates were Chris Overbeek, Sarah Farmer and Sue Sanford.
The top teams were Burch Bunch, Team Mason and MPT/Say Yes Fitness The Incredibles. Six of the registered teams raised over $6,000.
Team members provided a can of food in each bag to sit the light on and Sunday morning all the cans of food were collected to be delivered to Aid in Milan.
Milan Rotary Club cooked and served a hot pancake breakfast before the closing ceremony and Steve Montesano brought his blue trailer “Stewards for Strangers” and provided breakfast at the closing . After a long night outside, there was plenty of food for everyone and no one went home hungry.
