Hopping in

The Easter Bunny arrived in a fire truck to greet hundreds of youngsters that came to Wilson Park for the annual Easter Egg hunt hosted by the Milan Parks and Recreation Department on the breezy Saturday morning of March 19.
Colored eggs filled with candy treats were scattered over the park’s grounds.  Those lucky enough to fine a candy Peep in their egg were awarded a large chocolate bunny and a stuffed bunny toy.
Fire Marshal, Martin Ritchie, who brought the famous bunny to the event said, “Mr. Rabbit enjoyed the ride and was looking forward to greeting the youngsters.”
The Easter Bunny gave high-fives to adults and children plus posed for pictures parents took, as he made his way to the picnic table seat, where youngsters sat on his lap for photographs.
Director Ellen Bell once again spearheaded the event, one of Milan’s favorites.
