Murder mystery delights

By Milan Eagle Media

“It was a lively evening of ‘whodunit’ entertainment!  Milan Main Street is extremely grateful for the generous support of the Milan Players.  The contributions from this show will help make downtown Milan a better place for residents and visitors.”  (Dave Snyder)
Dave Snyder is referring to Marriage Can Be Murder – performed by Milan for the Performing Arts (sometimes called The Milan Players) which took place October 7 & 8 at Don Juan’s on Main St. The interactive comedy murder mystery dinner play had plenty of tasty food and an abundance of laughter.
The dedicated cast donate their time and spend hours attending rehearsals. They believe in having fun and creating theatre for a cause. Fun was had by cast and audience and over $1,400 was raised for Milan Main Street.
Thank you to the “chosen volunteers” from the audience that stepped in each night as Best Man and Flower Girl! They joined with cast Joy DeVaugh, Bruce Empson, Justin Layman, Demi Layman, Courtney Beck, Dr. Eduardo Enriquez, Eric Black and Stage Manager Kathy Millspaugh.
People came from Canton, Belleville, Jackson and neighboring communities to join Milan locals laughing and enjoying the evening “for a cause.”
