Tori Gossard, called T by her friends, is a senior at Dundee High School. She has loved basketball since she was a little girl, and has played it since she was in kindergarten. She has been named Scholar Athlete and has received the MVP Coach Award. Her favorite team is Michigan. Although basketball is her first love, she also plays volleyball.
Tori’s favorite subject is math because she says, “it comes easy to me”. She has a GPA of 4.0 and is a member of the National Honor Society. Tori plans to attend the University of Michigan where she will pursue a degree in education so that she can attain her goal of teaching math.
Tori lives at home with her mom, Natalie, her stepdad, Eric, and her sister, Jadyn. She also has a brother, Logan, and a sister, Jessica, both of whom are pursuing their college education out of state.
When asked her advice to other students considering playing a sport, Tori stated, “Practice in the off season and don’t be discouraged by a coach”
Principal Bryan Schroeder stated, “Tori has set the bar for all future Vikings. She is the perfect example of what a student athlete at DHS should be.”
