VETERAN’S DAY Assemble at the Veterans Wall at 10 a.m. for a brief ceremony. Key note speakers will includeDrew Cummings and and Mayor Armitage. We will also read an updated version of the newest names to be added to the Veteran’s Wall. Ends promptly at 10:45 a.m. At the American Legion Post we are going to have a toast at 11:11. Before it was called Veterans Day, this day used to be called Armistice Day for the End of World War One. It ended on the 11th day of the 11th hour of the 11th minute in 1918. Hence the reason why we have a toast at 11:11 on Veteran’s Day. That will be followed by a key note speaker John Kinzinger. We are having a brunch but that is done for members only and by invite only but our bar/lounge will remain open to the public during that time.
