The Milan High School Wrestling Team has earned a tournament trophy for the first time in over five years, bringing home Second Place in the Danville tournament.

The Milan wrestling program is larger than it has been in recent years as a number of freshmen have joined the team, making it easier to gain the required points to bring home a trophy. This year the team has had wrestlers who placed in first, second, or third at nearly every tournament and the team is gaining excitement and confidence with every win. Some of the boys were out for the holidays but the Milan team took 7th place out of 15 teams with only nine wrestlers on December 28, 2017 in St. Louis, Michigan.
