Milan Seniors for Healthy Living is a non-profit organization that provides services, activities, and programs for the mature residents in and around Milan. Caregivers Support Group At Senior Center (MSHL) – 3rd Mondays monthly from 6pm FACILITATED BY LANCE SLATTON CSCM from Enriched Life Home Care Services In the midst of caring for a loved one, it is easy to wrestle with the weight of that role. While often rewarding, caregiving requires a tremendous amount of energy and strength. It is important to take some time for yourself to recharge. Join us as we share the challenges and the rewards of caregiving. The purpose of this group is to create a community of support for caregivers and their families in an open forum to share experiences and resources. FREE.

After a nice break for the holidays Milan Garden Club is starting up our meetings again Wednesday, February 7 at 6:45 p.m. at Marble Memorial United Methodists Church. Our program will be presented by Cara Shillington, a professor in the biology department at Eastern Michigan University. Her topic will be spiders. We hope you can join us to learn all about these fascinating creatures that are our helpers in the garden!

Milan Community Fair Casino Bus Trip to Firekeepers in Battle Creek. We will load the bus at Wilson Park at 11:30 a.m., take off is at noon sharp! We will arrive at the Casino approx 1:30 p.m., and depart for home at 9 p.m.. Seats are $40, which you get credited $20 on your redhot rewards card & $5 you can use towards food. Must have valid State ID/License, and be 21+. Limited seating. All proceeds go to our Fireworks display for our Fair May 31st-June 2nd 2018.
