Dundee Employee of the Month

The Dundee Community Schools Interim Director of Technology, Tara Richardson, has been chosen as Staff Member of the Month. District Nurse Rachel Palmer nominated Ms. Richardson for this honor. The honoree has been with the district since September of 2017 and has made numerous recommendations for expanding and improving the technology capabilities of the schools. She recommended the purchase of the RAPTOR program for background checking. She participated in the creation of the Middle School Drama Club and performs as a DJ for district events. Ms. Richardson has been doing an outstanding job as acting Interim Director of Technology, filling that position while the Director, Travis Timar, has been out on leave. She was presented with a $50 gift card from the MEEMIC/LESKI Insurance agency as well as a certificate and her name has been added to the district plaque. She will also be entered in the Staff Member of the Month competition at the end of the year.

Ms. Kristyn Roggelin is the recipient of the Employee of the Month award. She was nominated by High School English teacher Jay Haselschwerdt . Ms. Roggelin teaches Spanish at Dundee High School and has been employed by Dundee Community Schools for 17 years. She is A Diversity Awareness Club advisor and a member of the Educational Technology Teacher Leadership Corps.  Her dedication and commitment to introducing the students to another language and country is demonstrated through her teaching and a recent student trip to Puerto Rico.  She received a $50 gift card from the MEEMIC/Leski Insurance Agency and a certificate. In addition her name will be added to the plaque listing the names of all of the district Employees of the Month and she is now eligible to participate in the Employee of the Year Award competition.
