Dundee Male Athlete of the Month: Calvin Edward Stump III

Calvin Edward Stump III has been selected as the Dundee Community Schools Male Athlete of the Month. Calvin is in the 12th grade at Dundee High School.
He participates in football for the Dundee Vikings. In addition, he is also plays baseball. As he says, he plays them “because I love to play”.
Calvin states that his favorite subject at school is Science and that Mr. Bock is his favorite teacher.
The Dallas Cowboys are Calvin’s favorite team. He plans on attending Michigan State University to pursue his education, but will concentrate on his studies rather than playing football while there.
Calvin lives with his parents, Edward and Martha Stump and three Huskies. The names of the dogs are Dallas, Kie and Luna. He says that his biggest influences are his parents, “because they push me to be the best person I can be”.
The coach that has had the biggest influence on Calvin is Coach Hickey. He states that Coach Hickey, “got me to prove to myself that I had good potential as a player. The Head Football coach, Coach McElvany, says that , “Calvin has great potential and he should have a breakout senior year.
