We at the Milan Eagle hope all in our community are doing well during this crisis. We will all get through this together. In order to keep people safe and distanced we did not produce a Milan Eagle newspaper for April. Further months have not been determined as we want to adhere to state guidelines and protect the community. Milan wins 5 events but falls to Dexter 109-77

The Milan Girl’s Swim and Dive Team fell to Dexter 109-77 August 30, 2018
Mackenzie Crawford took diving, Lizzy McKenna took the 500 in a incredible swim,. while Brooke Dobrzanski took the 200 IM ,Sophie Morelock took the 100 Free and our 200 Free relay of  Morelock, Cassidy Gillay, Dobrzanski and McKenna took 1st.  Morelock’s 100 free was a state cut, as was the 200 Free Relay win.  Jockelyn Hobbs added a runner up and State Cut in the 100 back.
Ashley Laplant had a great night on the boards to take 3rd, with Liz Rossow and Samantha Raasch also doing well.  This marked Samantha’s first dive competition and she looked great on the board.
Others swimming well were: Naomi Rossow, Danielle Trolian, Hannah Dennes, Lia Iverson, Emma Frame, Rachel Goodin, Cassidy Gillay. Kendal Sanders, Haley Brady. Hannah Sivils.,Mikayla Muccino, Jillian Rhoney
Molly Smith swam in her first meet as a Freshman and was very solid in the 50 free and 100 Breast events.
