Milan Seniors for Healthy Living is a non-profit organization that provides services, activities, and programs for the mature residents in and around Milan. It is located at 45 Neckel Court, Milan, MI 48160. The phone number is (734) 508-6229. Please call this number to register for our programs or if you need additional information. Your Spot Youth Program MILAN BAPTIST CHURCH 36 Tolan St. every Thursday evening, there are all kinds of fun activities available for Grades 6 through 12.
Ignite the Fire at Milan Free Methodist Church 950 Arkona Rd . Ignite for grades 7-8 meets Sunday from 5-6:30 p.m. The Fire for grades 9-12 meets Sunday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. 734-439-2414 7734 (7340 – for gr. 7-8 – meets Sunday evenings from 5:00 to 6.

Caregivers
Caregivers Support Group At Senior Center (MSHL) – 3rd Mondays monthly from 1 pm FACILITATED BY LANCE SLATTON CSCM from Enriched Life Home Care Services In the midst of caring for a loved one, it is easy to wrestle with the weight of that role. While often rewarding, caregiving requires a tremendous amount of energy and strength. It is important to take some time for yourself to recharge. Join us as we share the challenges and the rewards of caregiving. The purpose of this group is to create a community of support for caregivers and their families in an open forum to share experiences and resources. FREE.

Milan High School Holiday Band Concert 7-8:30 p.m. at Milan High School Performing Arts Center. The Milan Area Schools Bands perform the sounds of the season. A free and very popular event- come enjoy the homemade baked goods sold before the performance, and then settle in for an evening of classic musical treats.
December 6
Public invited to Red-Ribbon-Cutting and Reception with snacks, beverages and tours of the venue at a Grand Re-Opening celebrating new management of the Sleep Inn Hotel located 1230 Dexter St. on Dec. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. The Milan Area Chamber of Commerce will conduct the event hosted by general manager, Jillann Chrzanowski.

Milan Area Car Seat Check Appointments Required. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The Milan Area Fire Department and Milan Police Department have partnered up with C.S Mott Children’s Hospital to provide this FREE Car Seat Check for local families which will be held at the Milan Area Fire Department on January 19, 2019 from 10am-2pm by appointment only. 
***APPOINTMENTS ARE REQUIRED BY CALLING “MOTT BUCKLE UP” AT 734-763-2251***
Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on site teaching families how to transport children safely. The child must be present. Replacement seats may be available for those who qualify.

OTHER EVENTS
Participate in MSHL’s Giving Tree from now until December 18th! Items collected will go towards Veteran Affairs Ann Arbor to benefit the VA Hospital patients. How to participate:
Select any ornament from the tree in the MSHL lobby
Purchase the item on the ornament
Bring the item unwrapped and place it under the tree
Hang the ornament back on the tree
All items need to be placed under the tree by December 18th, as MSHL will be delivering the gifts on the 19th.
Example of items: magazines, sweat pants, zip-up hoodies, long sleeve colored T-shirts, gas gift cards, grocery gift cards, individually wrapped candy, back scratchers, squeeze stress balls
