We at the Milan Eagle hope all in our community are doing well during this crisis. We will all get through this together. In order to keep people safe and distanced we did not produce a Milan Eagle newspaper for April. Further months have not been determined as we want to adhere to state guidelines and protect the community. Caregivers Support Group At Senior Center (MSHL) – 3rd Mondays monthly from 1 pm FACILITATED BY LANCE SLATTON CSCM from Enriched Life Home Care Services In the midst of caring for a loved one, it is easy to wrestle with the weight of that role. While often rewarding, caregiving requires a tremendous amount of energy and strength. It is important to take some time for yourself to recharge. Join us as we share the challenges and the rewards of caregiving. The purpose of this group is to create a community of support for caregivers and their families in an open forum to share experiences and resources. FREE.

Milan Garden Club Meeting at 6:45 pm at the Marble Memorial United Methodist Church. Nancy Smith from Michigan Garden Clubs will be giving a presentation on the Black Swallowtail Butterfly,  mason bee houses and how to create a pollinator garden.  The Michigan Garden Club will be presenting a bill to the Michigan senate to make the swallowtail butterfly our state butterfly and Ms. Smith will have information available about the bill at the meeting. The meeting is free and open to the public. We hope to see you there!
