We at the Milan Eagle hope all in our community are doing well during this crisis. We will all get through this together. In order to keep people safe and distanced we did not produce a Milan Eagle newspaper for April. Further months have not been determined as we want to adhere to state guidelines and protect the community. We appreciate all our advertisers and readers and look forward to serving everyone again.God bless.

It was a great time for the youth age 11-16 at the Flashlight Egg Hunt held in April at Wilson Park. Ellen Bell, Director Milan Parks and Recreation, said they hid the eggs and treats in the play structure in Wilson Park.  Twenty-five youth, equipped with flashlights and baskets/bags,to put their collected goodies in, arrived around 7:30 p.m. There were 26 prizes, movie pass, pizza coupon, dairy barn coupons and much more. Bell said, “This was a great event for the first year and we look forward to doing it again next year.”  She appreciates and thanks the sponsors Adventure Ink, Dairy Barn, Hungry Howie’s, Little Caesars, Marco Pizza, Milan McDonald and Milan Parks and Recreation and the volunteers, Jesse Nie, Kelsea Kerkes, Dan Fromm, Katie Bell, and Jeff Rafko.
