Lucas Schrader

By Milan Eagle media

Lucas Schrader was born in Ypsilanti Michigan. This Milan High School senior has been going to Milan schools his entire life. Lucas said, “my dad, Scott Schrader and my mom, Cindi Schrader have always been there for me and are my number 1 fans.”. Lucas is the last student athlete in his family, his two brothers Zach and Kyle Schrader also played varsity baseball for their high school careers. Growing up and watching his brothers play made Lucas want to be just like them. He started playing baseball when he was 4 years. He said, “baseball has been a huge part of our life and it’s my favorite sport.” He’s been on varsity baseball 3 out of the 4 years of his high school years. He plays any position in the field that his coach needs him to play.
Lucas said, “Couch Gillis and Couch Price have been a big part of my family as they coached both of my brothers and ending the Schrader tradition with me. They both have taught me so much of the game of baseball and most importantly taught how to be a better person in life.  My high school teams have been amazing and a lot of fun, but enjoying the ride with my two friends Josiah Livingston, and Dustin Dapprich, who have been with me since we were kids, has been a blast”.
After High School Lucas plans to attend Western Michigan University to continue his academic career!
