Peter Pan Jr. leaves audience flying high

By Milan Eagle media

Milan Middle School students presented the musical Peter Pan, Jr. in April. Wendy Darling played by Claire Baker reads stories of Peter Pan to her brothers John, played by Anthony Carvalho and Michael played by Owen Burdette in the nursery. Sadly, Wendy will be leaving out of the nursery and the boys will miss the stories. Suddenly Peter Pan, played by Daphne Prior, a boy who wouldn’t grow up arrives looking for his shadow. Without much coaxing they all fly away to Neverland so they never grow up.
Their adventures include pirates, brave girls, lost boys, a fairy and a crocodile before retuning home, with Peter Pan and the lost boys, to their parents and dog.
The directors Sara Burden and Debra Nicholas did a fantastic job. From cast, crew, costumes, dance, music and everyone involved, the play was a success and once again Milan can say “last year was excellent but every year seems better than before. Milan has many talented students.”
