Milan Seniors for Healthy Living is a non-profit organization that provides services, activities, and programs for the mature residents in and around Milan. Caregivers Support Group At Senior Center (MSHL) – 3rd Mondays monthly from 1 pm FACILITATED BY LANCE SLATTON CSCM from Enriched Life Home Care Services In the midst of caring for a loved one, it is easy to wrestle with the weight of that role. While often rewarding, caregiving requires a tremendous amount of energy and strength. It is important to take some time for yourself to recharge. Join us as we share the challenges and the rewards of caregiving. The purpose of this group is to create a community of support for caregivers and their families in an open forum to share experiences and resources. FREE.

Concerts & Movies in the Park Thursdays 7/11 – 8/15 Concert starts at 7pm Movie starts at 9pm or dusk Location: Wilson Park Rain Location: The Center (concert only) FREE ADMISSION July 11, July 18, July 25, Aug. 1, Aug. 8, Aug. 15 Gather with your friends and neighbors in Wilson Park for great music, blockbuster movies, great food and the notorious Backstreet CruiZer, Lakeside Cruise Car shows. The Parks and Recreation Commission will be selling hot dogs, popcorn, cold drinks, ice cream and snacks for these events. Plan on coming down and having dinner with us. All proceeds will go back to the Parks and Recreation Commission to offer great programs like this. The Concerts and Movies are FREE but donations are always accepted.

Approximately 30% of the children attending Milan Area Schools this year qualify to receive free or reduced lunch during the school year. Ann Arbor Art Fair The Ann Arbor Art Fair is a Midwest tradition that draws nearly half a million attendees over four days in July. The largest juried art fair in the country, the Ann Arbor Art Fair will celebrate its 60th year in 2019. The art fair features more than 1,000 artists and a footprint spanning 30 city blocks in downtown Ann Arbor. In addition to art, the Ann Arbor Art Fair features a robust schedule, including stages with live music performances, artist demonstrations, family-friendly art activities for all ages and a wide array of food and beverage offerings. While the concert will be free to the public, St. Paul’s will be selling tickets for an “Ice Cream Social” with funds going to the “More Than Bricks” funding campaign.
