Magic, Music and the Night Sky at the Library in August!

Summer reading fun continues for all ages!  Logging reading will go on through August 31 and we have several very cool programs during August!

Night Sky 101
Thursday, August 8, 7-8:30 p.m. at The Center
Adrian Bradley, of the University of Michigan LowBrow Astronomers, will present an intro to identifying planets, stars and constellations in the night sky and demonstrate the Milan Public Library’s new telescope!  All ages welcome; kids under 12 need a grownup along.

The Supernatural Intergalactical Summer Reading MAGIC Spectacular
Friday, August 9, 10:30 a.m. at The Center
Jeff Wawrzaszek of A2 Magic will present this magic show for children and teens which will include several space-themed illusions.  

Create the Solar System in Fridge Magnets!
Saturday, August 17, 10:00-4:00 p.m. at the Milan Public Library
Drop in anytime to make your own solar system in fridge magnets.  All ages welcome; kids under 12 need a grownup
along. 

Out of this World Jazz Concert!
Thursday, August 28, 6:00-7:00 p.m. at The Center
Wrap up the summer with a free jazz concert.The Phil Hale Trio will provide a wonderful show for all ages. Light refreshments will be provided.
